Commission Meetings PDF Print E-mail
If you would like to watch the regular Commission meeting, they are held every 2nd and 4th Monday, unless otherwise specified. If you would like to participate (Questions, proposals etc.) please contact the Commissioners' office @ (256) 574-9280 and request to be placed on the Agenda. If you so wished to be placed on the Agenda a signed letter with your; name, date of meeting, things you wish to speak about, and company that you are representing. Request must be turned in before 4:30pm on the Thursday PRIOR to the meeting. Please discuss your topic with the Administrative Assistants, or speak with your commissioner first about the topic. He/she may recommend bringing the topic to the meeting or your question/comment may have already been answered.

 

Acceptable Questions & Comments -

  • Polite/courteous question regarding the function of the County agencies, the commissioners
  • Request for repair of County Roads
  • Statement of dangerous roads, intersections etc.
  • General condition of County property & nuisance
Unacceptable Questions & Comments -
  • Grievances about commissioners, county employees, officers, etc.
  • Grievances about neighbors or specific people
