   Commissioner Hodges was elected to a four-year term in November 2000 to represent District 4, the western portion of Jackson County.  Although the Jackson County Commission members represent a District, the Commission functions as a Unit System to carry out the duties and responsibilities of County Government.

     Commissioner Hodges has worked as various levels of government.  She retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as a Project Manager and has served one term as Mayor of Woodville.

     She is an active member of the Woodville Baptist Church, teaches Senior Adult Sunday School, serves on the 21st Century Council Board of Directors as well as participates in numerous other civic activities.

     Commissioner Hodges is a native of Jackson County and resides in Woodville, AL.  She was married to the late Kenneth Roy Hodges and has one son and daughter-in-law.
